Simple Motive is located in the Alexander Smith Carpet Mills Historic District in Yonkers, NY. Gomez Design Studio led the design, fabrication, and installation of a large-scale window feature combining reclaimed oak shutters with layers of live and artificial foliage. The shutters were crafted from oak flooring salvaged from a local Yonkers residence, bringing warmth, texture, and a distinctly local material story to the industrial space.
